Leaded Fuels are now being phased out by the 30th June 2019 and all major manafacturers are producing alternative unleaded fuels to replace them .

Many unleaded fuels are homoligated for various forms of racing, especially in the Go Karts, Motorcycle and CAMS events using FIA Spec Fuels.

Regardless of your vehicle, there will be a fuel that will meet your requirements.

Note any racing done on water, the only allowable fuels are those that are either Non Oxygenated or utilising Ethanol.

Any fuels using MTBE or Lead are forbidden to be used in any water sports.

Panta RON 98 Fuel

Panta RON 98 Racing Fuel contains high amount of aromatics and oxygen compared to other similar octane fuels to satisfy needs of not professional drivers.

Developed as an all purpose racing fuel as a viable alternative to 98 RON Pump fuel. Due to its low level of oxygenation, minor retuning is required by approx 3% increase in fueling.

This fuel will have increased resistance to detonation, and the ability to retain consistent power levels as the temperature of the engine / fuel increases whereas pump fuel’s degrade quickly.

Throttle response is particularly impressive as required, where rapid throttle changes are required.

This fuel is especially effective with Go Karts and is soon to be homo-ligated with the relevant Australian Karting associations.

Panta KR1 Racing Fuel

Panta Stream Racing Fuel originally developed for the Italian Formula 3 Championship and is now the official fuel for the Superleague Formula, Formula 2, Formula 3 Italy and Formula Abarth. This fuel was revised and modified specifically for the Australian racing market, with track and dyno testing overseen by Konsky Racing. KR1 is a performance fuel developed to produce higher levels of torque

Panta KART 102  is formulated to meet CIK-FIA race fuel specifications and is the official fuel used  World European and WSK Karting Championships.

This unleaded oxygenated race fuel is performs well in engines requiring a 96 octane fuel as well as air-restricted naturally aspirated engines that can benefit from a fuel containing additional oxygen.

Panta MTV4T-01 Racing Fuel 

Panta MTV4T-01 is formulated for four stroke engines requiring higher octane RON and MON numbers compared to homoligated fuels currently being used. Specifically suited to historic vehicles transitioning from Avgas fuel.

This unleaded oxygenated race fuel is performs extremely well as air-restricted naturally aspirated engines that can benefit from a fuel containing additional oxygen, but no so heavily oxygenated as FIA spec 102 octane fuels.

Sunoco 260 GTX Unleaded Racing Fuel

Sunoco® 260 GTX™ is an unleaded racing fuel that contains no oxygenates and no metallic additives.

Sunoco 260 GTX is a good fuel for many applications that need more detonation protection than typical street gas provides, yet cannot use a leaded fuel.

It has been shown to produce repeatable power levels in engines to 12:1 compression ratio, and will tolerate more compression in engines with smaller or more efficient combustion chambers.

260 GTX will not harm sensors such as oxygen sensors used in fuel injection systems.

It is also an excellent choice where oxygenates such as alcohols and ether’s are limited or banned by the engine manufacturer or sanctioning organisation.

Does not require re-tuning, but gains can be had with its increased resistance to detonation.

Sunoco FR is designed for highly stressed turbo engines as well as air restricted normally aspirated race engines.

This fuel is specifically suitable for circuit racing applications, where rapid throttle response is required, examples being circuit racing and motor khanas.

Most vehicles can use an existing 98 RON tune with minor fuel increases of 3 – 5% and no alterations to ignition timing.

Sunoco 260 GT Plus Unleaded Racing Fuel

One of the highest octane unleaded racing gasoline’s available! Sunoco 260 GT Plus™ is specifically formulated for the professional racer and should not be used on the street.

It is highly oxygenated to help produce maximum performance in classes which allow high dielectric fuels and is an excellent choice for modern computer-controlled applications which cannot otherwise tolerate tetra-ethyl lead (TEL) recommended for higher boost applications with CRs up to 11:1 or naturally aspirated engines up to 13:1.

This high horsepower producing unleaded fuel is exceptional for drag racing and dyno horsepower shoot-outs.

Due to its high oxygen content, a richer mixture is required to utilise the full potential of this fuel compared to a conventional non-oxygenated race fuel.

Sunoco 260 GT Plus contains additives to enhance shelf life and promote engine cleanliness.

As with any gasoline, it should be stored in opaque, tightly sealed containers and kept where temperatures are stable.

Exposure to light can degrade the octane of this fuel and should be avoided.  Properly stored, the shelf life of 260 GT Plus is in excess of 1 year.

This fuel is Ethanol Enriched and as such, suitable for all forms of water sports use.

Roo 99 is a cost-effective, unleaded replacement for Avgas & PULP 98.

Compared with other 100 octane racing fuels that only have a Motor Octane of 89.

Roo 99 has a Motor Octane of 93.5, this fuel will keep your engine safe while making maximum power on the track.

Roo 99 on some engines, can produce up to 3% more power than AVGAS.

Whilst it can be tipped straight in, for maximum power, we recommend a fuel increase of 1-3% and all engines to be checked on the dyno.

Designed for competition use in 2 and 4 stroke motorcycle racing applications within Australia.

Homologated with Motorcycling Australia for use in all disciplines of competition, as outlined in GCR 12.9.5 of the 2010 edition of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport.

Roo 100 offers better protection against detonation in harsh racing conditions, makes up to 3% more Horsepower and Torque than premium pump fuel and gives you exact consistency so you don’t have to alter you tune up from drum to drum.

VP Motorsport 100 / Street Blaze 100 Unleaded Racing Fuel

Oxygenated with ethanol, this fuel is specifically engineered for high-performance street cars including sport compacts, muscle cars, street rods and more.

In applications with anything from 4- to 12-cyclinders or engines equipped with a turbocharger, supercharger or nitrous oxide system (NOS), StreetBlaze 100 will generate optimum power and performance.

Recommended for higher boost applications with CRs up to 11:1 or naturally aspirated engines up to 13:1. Excellent in crate engine applications.

This high horsepower producing unleaded fuel is used for drag racing and dyno horsepower shoot-outs.

This fuel requires large amounts of ignition timing to work, and is especially suitable for forced induction engines where boost levels are running in excess of 20 psi.

This fuel, is not recommended for circle track racing where rapid throttle changes are required for acceleration due to its slower burn speed.

VP QM25 / SV05 Unleaded Racing Fuel

Developed for European drag race, oval track, road race and off-road high performance engines. This oxygenated product makes big HP and torque gains on and off the track.

Spec fuel for European Pro Stock drag racing.

Designed for naturally aspirated, high revving applications. QM25 is an oxygenated unleaded racing fuel like no other! Compared to most Unleaded racing fuels, QM25 has shown to have significant torque and HP gains.

Suited for Australian Pro Stock, Super Stock and N/A drag racing applications.

This fuel is the unleaded equivalent of the venerable VP C25 Leaded Racing Fuel, although it does require the fuel to remain sealed and cool for best results.
